Maui Reef Adventures gets out there fast to save more time for snorkeling! Quad 350hp motors propel the Reef Explorer, a hefty ocean raft, across the sea to Molokini Crater and sites down the South Coast of Maui. This small group format avoids the crowds for a semi private experience! After Molokini, a 2nd stop at Turtle Cove will give guests an opportunity to see Maui’s Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, or Honu. Turtle cove is known as a turtle cleaning station, where surgeon fish gather and clean algae from the Honu’s shells. Sometimes there are dozens of turtles at a time! Maui Reef Explorer Molokini & Turtle Cove
The 4 hour trip departs from Maalaea boat harbor for a fast ride to Molokini Crater on Reef Explorer, a state-of-the-art, 60ft custom Super Raft. This deluxe vessel allows riders to sit just a few feet off the water for a ride like no other boat in Hawaii. Impressive speed is a snap with 4 350hp Yamaha outboards. Ample shade and two restrooms on board for added comfort on this fast, smooth ride. The 1st snorkel site is Molokini Crater, over the crater’s edge or maybe the dramatic back side wall. Next is a cruise along the South Maui coastline with a stop at their favorite Turtle Cove to snorkel and swim with Hawaii's Honu, Green Sea Turtle.
