Holokai Kaneohe Bay Kayak & Snorkel Adventure
This SB Oahu crew favorite is a fun 3-hour* Kaneohe Bay kayak adventure with exceptional snorkeling, great for all ages, no experience necessary. The small, 16 person format with personal kayak guide & escort boat is relaxed and low key, with narrative about sea life, history and culture of He’eia Hawaiian fish pond and Moku ‘o Lo’e or Coconut Island (where Gilligan’s Island was filmed).
The adventure begins with a safety briefing and boat tow halfway to Coconut Island, followed by a .75 mile kayak, beach landing, and 45 minutes of snorkeling on a vibrant and abundant reef. Paddle the 1.5 miles home downwind under your own steam or take it easy with a boat tow. BBQ lunch upon return (BBQ chicken, ribs, veggie burgers, corn, rice and salad). Includes FREE round trip transportation to & from Waikiki. This one goes every day except Sunday. Proceeds from the tour benefit the non-profit educational organization Kamaiana Kids, who maintain He’eia Park for the public.
*Tour time is 4-hours with post-tour BBQ.
