Catch a wave with MWR. Maui surf lessons are fun adventure for anyone. Each 2 hour lesson starts with a 10-15 minute land briefing covering ocean safety and surf basics (how to paddle, catch a wave, stand up), followed by in-water instruction. Group, semi-private & private lessons are available, 6 surfers max per instructor. Must be 10 years or older to participate in group lessons. Semi-private lessons are required for kids under 10, 2 surfers maximum. A private lesson offers more advanced instruction and personal attention. Rash guards, booties, free logo hat and surf gear included. FREE board rental after lesson, same day!

Want To SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard)?
Stand Up Paddleboarding has deep Hawaiian roots. Ancient chiefs rode Koa tree boards, the large size & heavy weight often requiring a paddle to get out into the waves. Today SUP is a fun way to relax and convene with nature. Maui Wave Riders offers 1-1/2 hour instruction with rashguard, booties, cap and paddleboard equipment included. This is a popular activity, book ahead to secure your SUP. Must be 10 years and older for group lessons. Reserve Semi-Private or Private for kids under 10. FREE board rental after lesson, same day!

Makena Landing is a favorite place to snorkel with prolific fish traffic and coral cover. Your guide will strategically locate a sandy spot to anchor where you will safely exit your kayak and become one with the ocean. Witness colorful fish, coral and turtles. Difficult level is easy with a max group size of 10 people per guide. Must be 5+ years old. Life jackets are mandatory and provided.
