On Seafire’s Maui whale watch, the S.A.F.E. boat rides close to the water, which can feel like running with the whales. 11 AM-12:30/1 PM every Wednesday & Friday, starting December 15th. Seafire Whale Watch (Dec. 15 - April 15)
This is a great whale watch if you prefer small groups, want some extra ZZZ’s or you’re staying in Kihei/Wailea. This is Captain Don’s 38th whale season, who has a passel o’ whale tales & information to impart about whale behavior. Seafire’s S.A.F.E. boat rides closer to the water, which can feel like running with the whales. The “SAFE” boat (Secured Around Flotation Equipment) is the same used by the U.S. Coast Guard, with only 22 pax max–(currently running at 1/2 capacity, only 12 pax max). Kihei boat launch ramp departure.
TIME:
Check-in 11 AM, departure shortly after check-in, with approx. 12:45/1:15 PM return. Wednesday & Friday.
INCLUDES:

DEPARTS:
Kihei boat launch.
