The Big Island Umauma Falls Experience is a Snorkel Bob consultant fave for the zip/waterfall combo.

Located 10 minutes from Hilo & 30 minutes from Volcanoes National Park, a fun & adventurous outing awaits. Schedule a late-morning zip, visit Hilo Hawaiian plantation town, then head to Volcanoes National Park to see the bright orange lava flow after dark. 9 ziplines total (4 side by side), with a suspension bridge crossing over a lava tube & fern grotto. The zip course includes scenic views from the 100 foot Umauma Waterfall to Mauna Kea, with zip crossings over rivers and waterfalls, a close-up view of a dual Umauma waterfall & occasional hawk sightings. Due to zipline angles, weight & age requirements are 35 lbs. min. to 275 lbs. max, ages 4 & up, under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
A nearby tropical botanical garden provides amusement for a friend or family member who wants to skip the zip experience.
DAILY TOUR TIMES:
8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 AM OR 12:00, 1:00, 2 & 3 PM. Total tour time approximately 2-1/2 – 3 hours, add 1 hour for the zip ‘n dip upgrade.

NOTE: From Kohala/Waikoloa allow approx. 1-1/2 hours driving time on saddle road route, 2 hours along Hamakua Coast, minimum 2 hours from Kona.
* For safety reasons, we will need the weights of each zipper. Please be specific about weight, as it affects your safety. Riders giving inaccurate weights (under 80 lbs. or over 260 lbs.) will not be allowed to take tour or receive a refund.
*Pax with neck & shoulder injuries or pregnancies may not participate. Wear closed toe shoes or hiking boots & tie back hair. Rain gear, light snax & water included.
