I pursued these beauties around South Maui for 2 years until 1 showed up yesterday outside my office. By noon it was 3 more & then 8. Now they’re many. Many many. DLNR says they’re invasive. But no species or combinations thereof at any place or time could be as invasive as DLNR.
BTW: Lovebirds are wildlife. They came here as “pets” and opted for better life in the wild.
I love lovebirds but can’t get much done.
