The Royal Kona Luau
begins with a shell lei greeting followed by mai
tais, a traditional Imu Ceremony (disinterment of the pig), luau
buffet and one of the best Polynesian shows in Hawaii. The show
featuresTahitian, Hawaiian Hula, New Zealand Maori Haka, Fijian
and the Samoan Fire-Knife dances.
LUAU TIME: 5:30 PM every
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
PRICE: $72 for adults,
$27 for children 6-11, FREE for children 5 and under.
LOCATION: Oceanfront at the Royal Kona Resort next door to me,
Snorkel Bob.
LUAU FEAST: Kalua pig, Catch of the Day, Lau Lau, Kona Broil,
Chicken Long Rice, Lomi Salmon, Sushi, Poke, Cucumber and Tomato
Salad, Macaroni Salad, Green Salad, Fresh Fruit, Banana Bread,
Poi, White Rice, Sweet Potato, Coconut Cake, Coconut Pudding, Kona
Coffee, Fruit Punch, Mai Tais and Open Bar.
