This is a day of fun starting early enough to get in a few hours of snorkeling afterward. You will look goofy in a Darth Vador helmet, but hey, who's to know it's you? Must be 12 years or older.

TRIP TIMES:
Sunrise: Summit to Ocean: 2:00am-11:30 am. Van trip to summit (10,000'), bike tour begins at 6500'.

Day trip: Halaekala Park entrance 6500' to Ocean. 28 miles. Approximately 7:00am-3:00 pm

LOCATION: Hotel Pickup and transportation to Haleakala

COMFORTABLE YET ADVENTUROUS: Round trip air-conditioned transportation from your hotel. All bikes are cruisers with heavy duty brakes and comfortable seats. Helmets, windbreakers, pants and gloves are provided. Coast from entrance of Haleakala National Park down through Makawao and Paia (28 miles).

OPTIONAL DELI LUNCH: Lunch can be purchased at Sunrise Market and Protea Flower Farm following the day trip.
